Day-wise Plan
On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our local representative will be waiting outside the customs area to welcome you and to take you to your hotel (Check-in time is 3.00 pm). Rest of the day is free for you to explore Hanoi Town on your own.
Dubbed Bach Long (“White Dragon” in Vietnamese), the structure snakes along a rocky wall for 290 metres before spanning the valley thanks to a 342-m suspension bridge supported by powerful cables.
The 250 reinforced tempered glass panels used for the floor of the bridge were commissioned from the French Saint-Gobain group, which had them made by a specialist partner in India. They consist of several layers of vinyl incorporated into a laminated pane, a technique used in regions hit by cyclones and hurricanes. Announced as highly resistant (just as well!), the structure is calibrated to be able to hold up to 450 people at once
Rong May Glass Bridge is located in Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province. Due to its proximity to Sapa (about 18km from the town of Sapa), this destination is commonly known as Sapa Glass Bridge and attracts a large number of visitors.
Discovering the thrilling experiences on Sapa Glass Bridge
There are many exciting and interesting things to do at the Rong May Glass Bridge. You can participate in many adventurous activities as well as enjoy the majestic beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range
In the morning (exact time will be advised upon reconfirmation), you will be picked-up at your hotel and then on a comfortable A/C bus, heading West of Hanoi for about 70km. As soon as the city traffic is over, you will be passing by nicely tranquil rural villages, paddy fields with hospitable people until reaching the Yen Vy Wharf, from where we take a boat downstream to Duc Wharf and start our light climbing up to Huong Tich Grotto, a sacred place for every Northern Vietnamese. Lunch en route. The whole trip may take 08 hours until coming back to your hotel in Hanoi. February, March and June are to avoid for too bustling festive time, or for the heat of summer
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel. Later in the day you will be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight back home.
